Wratislavia Cantans, established in 1966 by the Polish conductor Andrzej Markowski, is one of the most distinguished and prestigious musical events in Poland. Its programme presents the greatest vocal and vocal-instrumental pieces in the history of music in venues that include the historic churches and halls of Wrocław and the Lower Silesia region. The festival hosts world-famous ensembles, conductors and soloists and has been under the artistic direction of Giovanni Antonini since 2013.
