Manifesta is an influential roving European biennial of contemporary art that investigates emerging developments in the field by establishing a close dialogue between its respective cultural and artistic settings and the broader international fields of art, theory and politics. Each Manifesta’s range of activities extends over 2 years or more, such as publications, meetings and seminars, in diverse locations in Europe and the neighbouring regions, ending in the final exhibition in the host city.
Leggendo Metropolitano is a Festival of Literature that counts on a great success and attention from the media, the critics and international and national intellectuals as well. Since the beginning, it was marked by the pursuit of important and current issues, while maintaining the central role of literature and language. Every year the different topics are related to a main concept. For this reason, the Festival encompasses a mixture of professions and a multidisciplinary approach from literature to philosophy, history, law, journalism and science among others.
SoNoRo Festival began in 2006 and has developed into one of the most creative and appreciated classical music festivals in Eastern Europe. SoNoRo regularly goes on tour, performing in some of the most prestigious international venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and Musikverein, and has initiated collaborations with various European festivals from Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Latvia and the UK. The festival has developed an extended educational project dedicated to gifted young musicians.
