not awarded

Visfestivalen i Västervik is one of the oldest music festivals in Sweden. It started in 1966 as a folk music gathering and has now become a singer songwriter festival, where established artists play unplugged and newcomers try out their material. Some of the country’s most famous artists have started their careers here on the castle ruin stage. Abba, Roxette, Cornelis Wreesvijk, First Aid Kit, Ted Gärdestad and many more have taken to the stage, as well as Elvis Costello and the Kingston Trio.
