New technology, new media, new forms: the Fast Forward Festival presents us each year with the theatre of the future via polymorphic and hybrid performances by internationally celebrated artists. The Onassis Cultural Centre (OCC) also breaks out of the auditorium with site-specific performances in unexpected spaces and a revelatory peripatetic show in the streets of Athens.
The Iasi International Theatre Festival for Young Audience is a cultural event highly regarded by its large audience: from children, young people to adults, seniors with open minds and young spirit. It is the only festival in Romania with this identity and the only international genre event in the region. The Pécs National Theatre Festival (POSzT) is a 10-day festival of Hungarian theatre held every June in various Pécs venues. The main programme features the best 12 performances chosen by the professional jury. The accompanying POSzT OFF arts festival consists of about 200 events: professional discussions, theatre, exam performances by art universities, exhibitions, concerts, youth and children’s programmes and outdoor events. The mix makes this a festival for professionals and residents alike.
