Since 2001, Festival Internazionale Sul Filo del Circo has taken place each summer in Grugliasco, a small town near Turin, which has become a centre of excellence in contemporary circus. The festival embodies tradition and innovation, promoting events with a strong innovative approach as well as shows by leading artists from traditional circus. Organizers aim for the festival to be the reinvention of tradition, hosting artists who combine excellent circus techniques with contemporary drama.
KoresponDance is an international dance festival including new circus and physical theatre. It uses the genius loci of a baroque castle and abbaye, partly UNESCO site, in Zdar nad Sazavou, the Czech republic. The dramaturgy includes: community work with renamed international artists, new dance generation from 3 continents, renamed compagnies. The festival is co producing several premiere mainly site specific. The festival includes a 4 days encounter for performers from all over the world: the Fillimit program and round tables for profesionals, show of works in progress.
