Science in the City is Malta’s science and arts festival in the last week of September. As part of European Researchers’ Night, on Friday Valletta’s streets are filled with art and entertainment linked to science: street art installations, science busking, music, art exhibitions, puppet shows, live experiments, talks, debates, comedy, dance, theatre and much more. Over 24,000 people attend every year bringing a memorable night to everyone.
In 2017 our big night is on the 29 September and our theme around Futures, or how today’s research will shape the society of tomorrow.
In 2018 our big night is on the 28 September and our theme is how Science is Culture, celebrating Valletta as the European Capital of Culture.
