XXII Sastamala Gregoriana Early Music Festival continues to combine an excellent programme of international concerts with music from the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods. This year we are celebrating Finland’s Independence Centenary, Monteverdi’s 450th Birthday and 500th Anniversary of Reformation. Sastamala’s lakeside St Mary’s Church, with its vaulted wooden ceiling, is an unforgettable venue with perfect acoustics for solo vocal music and small ensembles. The surrounding silence enhances the beauty of the musical experience for performers and audiences.
