Moni Lazariston Festival is a major organizer of cultural activities in the city of Thessaloniki, hosting leading artists from the Greek and international music industries. It provides artistic diversity by organizing concerts, dance performances, plays and art exhibitions in their most contemporary form. Its home is Lazaristes Monastery, which was built in 1886 and bought by the Greek State in 1983 to mark 2,300 years of Thessaloniki, becaming the Cultural Centre of Western Thessaloniki.
