Dance Week Festival (Tjedan suvremenog plesa) is Croatia's primary, international, contemporary dance festival. To date, during the 33 years, it has featured well over 1000 internationally acclaimed artists and companies, and has produced well over 100 works of Croatian choreographers. Its eclectic program features a diverse range of works which reflect the evolving nature of contemporary dance, it current trends as well as legacy related.
The Cottier Chamber Project began in 2011 and is a 3-week festival of chamber music and dance that takes place in Glasgow’s West End in June. The festival concentrates mainly on Scottish based artists, with a number of international guests invited to take part each year. The evening programme of relaxed hour-long performances includes familiar and unusual repertoire, new commissions, and works from a huge variety of periods and genres, providing something for every taste. The lunchtime series, which is free, looks at either a specific composer or a genre (Bach in 2014, lieder in 2015).
