Zagreb Book Festival is an annual cultural manifestation that celebrates and promotes the written word and its specific power to enrich the human experience. It takes place every year in May at the very heart of Zagreb at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. Its mission is to enhance the interest for reading, writing and communication through literature by making it amusing and accessible while its goal is to emphasize current themes in different societies and to familiarize the society with other cultural expressions.
The aim of the EstOvest Festival is exchange between different cultures: on the one hand the Festival encourages integration and comparison of ancient musical traditions with contemporary expression; on the other hand the artistic journey revisits the western avant-garde compositions, in a spirit of creative research.
The EstOvest 2017 Festival theme “Spiriti Musicali/Spirit in Music”, will endeavor to
shed light on the profound and fundamental link between interiority and Sharing, between Music and Spirituality.
The Dvorak Prague Festival is not only a celebration of a musical genius, Antonin Dvorak, the most esteemed Czech composer in the world, but also an important social event. It is a parade of topflight soloists, conductors, and internationally-renowned orchestras and chamber ensembles who come to Prague to present music by Dvorak and other composers of the world to an international audience.
