Festival Paganiniano di Carro
not awarded

Festival Paganiniano di Carro was created in 2002 to celebrate the great Italian composer and violinist Nicolò Paganini, whose family came from the La Spezia region. Its 12 concerts are held in the piazzas and churches of 9 villages of the area, and the heart of the festival is in the village of Carro, birthplace of Paganini’s father whose house is still standing. The artistic programme includes chamber and soloist music, mainly based on violin music and 19th-century virtuosic repertoire.
