Festival Rádio Faneca invites the community of Ílhavo to take part in a programme of performance and visual arts and music, where people explore histories, experiences and the urban structure of this seaside town in Northern Portugal, with family, friends or even alone. It extends to the alleys, streets and parks which musicians, artists and performers turn into their stages for free performances during 3 days in May. Children’s events, dances, movie drive-ins and food markets take place too.
The Olympus Festival started in 1972 in Pieria in the Central Macedonia region, and continues to offer high-quality artistic events every July and August. The programme includes ancient and modern theatre, dance, music and visual arts, performed by Greek and international artists. Venues are rich in historical and cultural value, such as the ancient theatre of Dion, the Platamon castle, Ancient Pydna, Ancient Livithra, the Mediterranean Mosaics Centre and the church of Panagia Kontariotissas.
The Iasi International Theatre Festival for Young Audience is a cultural event highly regarded by its large audience: from children, young people to adults, seniors with open minds and young spirit. It is the only festival in Romania with this identity and the only international genre event in the region. Each year has a specific theme and a various schedule (theatre – indoor and outdoor, translations, public-lectures, dance, ballet, music, movies, exhibitions, debates, book presentations, workshops etc.)
