Festival Interceltique de Lorient gathers 4,500 artists from all parts of the Celtic world in events of every kind: traditional, classical, folk, jazz, rock and electronic music, dance, art, literature, film and lectures. During 10 days in August around 250 shows are seen by large audiences (750,000 visitors in 2014). The festival contributes to the development of Breton culture and spreads links to the Celtic nations of Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Ireland, Galicia and Asturias.
