The Pontevedra Children's Book Fair is an event that welcomes more than 120000 people around the promotion of books and reading. MOT International theater festival, is organized for the first time by the Youth Cultural Center in May,1976. The main abbreviation of the festival's name comes from MLAD (Young), because it is created by young and thriving authors, OTVOREN (Open), because it does not kneel to the “old” and “numb” theatrical patterns, and TEATAR (Theater) because it deals with our objective reality.
