"Cucka jeka" is a music festival based on a natural human need to return to our roots, remind ourselves of our true background, our beginnings and tradition whilst showing that the centre of the world can in fact be the hard-reaching point of Montenegrin rugged range if we just pour some true love and energy into it. The festival is being held in the mountain region of Montenegro, in the village with few households, called Kobilji Do.
Since 2005, every year, “Cuore di...” (Heart of...) is dedicated to a different country, focusing on contemporary performing and visual arts, and on current items (last editions: Greece, Palestine, Brasil, Scandinavian countries, Iran). The aim is to present a different ‘face’ of countries, that often are perceived through stereotypes. The program includes theatre, dance, music, cinema, parties, workshops, meetings and “letters” from that country to our country. The location is in a theatre and in the surrounding park.
Festival Kassandras is an open amphitheater with a capacity of 3000 people with easy access in the green forest. Established in 1993 and all these years of operation, has hosted great theatrical and musical performances and renowned actors and musicians.
